How many times have you heard someone say, "You deserve it" or "You deserved that"?

But did you actually earn it? 

There's a big difference between deserving a better life and earning it. Deserving a vacation and earning one, deserving a good person next to you and earning their presence.

I've never met ONE person whose life is easy. Most people suffer and struggle. Most of us ask ourselves, "Why me?" when something bad happens, but only a few ask that when something great happens.

Human nature can be quite egoistic—we often feel like we deserve better.

I don’t think so. We have what we’ve earned. Whether you’re driving a beat-up Toyota Camry from 1993 or have a garage full of luxury cars in the basement of your mansion, it's all a result of the decisions you made in the past.

The sequence of your steps has led you to where you are right now.

We all have the same amount of hours in the day, the same range of opportunities. Some of us face more challenges, some less. Some believe others just got lucky and blame their own circumstances.

Earning is hard.

Earning respect and maintaining it is even harder.

Building strong relationships and earning trust takes not only effort but time. It’s about not giving up when things get tough and pushing forward when everything feels like it's falling apart.

It's about finding a way to win every single day.

Both people may struggle, but one will keep earning their way to a better life, making progress each day. The other will continue believing they deserve better but won’t take any action to make even a little progress.

We care a lot about the products we want to sell, but often overlook those we shouldn't sell.

When I review the products our students at the Academy are finding, sometimes it gives me a sense of fear. If no one steps in to guide new sellers away from launching products destined for failure, they’ll inevitably fail. And it’ll happen fast.

The worst part is, they’ll keep trying, thinking it’s a PPC or listing issue. But the real problem is the product itself.

Here are three products that are almost guaranteed to fail if you decide to launch them:

These products are oversaturated with countless new sellers. The market is already satisfied with what's available, and unless you’re willing to sell at rock-bottom prices, there’s little you can do to stand out.

No amount of improvement will make your shopper excited enough to pay a higher price. The market just won’t sustain it.
