She brought her 18-year-old daughter to help her clean our house.

I respect that she's helping her mom and can see the hard work her mom puts in to make her life fulfilling.

And I got even more respect for that.

Given that I'm a mom, and I've been involving my kids in my business pretty early, which you can also see in my recent IG reel, I felt both empathy and sympathy at the same time. Fena, my 17-year-old who's also working in our business, was on her way home when I asked her to buy flowers for the girl.

One of my love languages is gifts. Not receiving, but giving. I feel fulfilled when I give gifts to people who want them.

Now picture an 18-year-old girl who recently moved to the US with her parents.

She can't apply for any scholarships and is struggling to get her transcript transferred to the college she wants to attend. Instead, she's helping her mom clean houses. In the middle of vacuuming a room, listening to music on her pretty old, exhausted headphones, she receives flowers from a stranger (myself).

The smile on her face was priceless.

Do small things for strangers; it will make them happier, and you'll feel so much better about yourself.

🤖 Why implementing AI is crucial in your Amazon Journey
