We all are affected at some point with childhood problems. I'll share with you one of mine.

The moment I enter pretty much ANY room, I feel guilty. I feel that I did something wrong.

It took me many years to figure out my real problem.

When my mom got pregnant, she tried to abort me, but the doctors said NO. She had another abortion 3 weeks prior and many of them after.

I grew up with a consistent blame that my mom could not have the life she wanted, she did not go to school, and etc.

I learned how to make people comfortable next to me in the first place. If I'm doing something wrong, the level of emotions I'm having is very high because I feel a World-size disaster when it can be something small and easy to fix.

It did lead me to CARE about people more than I care about myself, to put other people's interests before mine, and it also led me to unreasonable sacrifice that did not bring anything good to my family until I realized that it's not the right thing to do.

I was taught that I HAVE TO SACRIFICE. That only through sacrifice would my life be better.

I did realize how bad this problem is when I was listening to Tim Jordan at the Level Up event last week. I cried for hours after his speech. It still hurts. It's worth it. Unfortunately, I can not share the details of his presentation, it’s only for people that were there.

I don't know yet how I'm going to improve my life radically and what it would take for me to feel free from consistent guilt.

Knowing the problem, I have an opportunity to solve it.

People are very, very complicated, and I encourage you to face your childhood problems to make your personal and intimate life better.

I'm not talking to my mom. My mom did not talk to her mom, my grandma (RIP).

I did everything that was in my power to make my kids feel wanted and be close to me, trust me, and believe that to have each of them was my decision, and it was my responsibility to let them have a happy life and freedom of choices without unnecessary sacrifice.

And I still feel guilty that I did not do enough because I know that in many cases, I could do better.

📦 Product Drop. Expired patents.

Let's talk about business.

At BDSS10, we had an AI Product research contest. Our Team took it seriously. However, something that caught my attention and we did not use it in our product research techniques at Ritz Momentum as a starting point of the research:

• searching for the products that have an expired patent. Rich Goldstein explained how to use proper filters to find an expired patent. BTW, after the expiration, it should be 15 years until the patent won't be able to be reactivated. So feel free to find an expired patent and make this product better if the keywords still make sense.

• use filters: 15 years ago from today, STATUS: application; TYPE: Design Pay attention to the Country of the application. It's territorial.

📈 Increase conversion with a few steps using AI

When you are selling no matter where, you are selling:

• keywords

• pictures

• solution

Sometimes you also have to create a problem awareness to make the sale more powerful.

Now. Download at least 10,000 reviews of the same product, based on yourself and your competitors.

You can use VOC.AI for that.

And follow those steps:

1. Download the file with insights

2. Upload this file to CHATGPT 4o and ask not to do anything

3. Ask "Please create a perfect customer avatar based on "product name"

4. Ask: "If you have to chose one biggest problem you can solve for this customer avatar to kill your competitors, which problem would that be based on the insights you just analyzed "

5. "How would you phrase this one problem in 5 words?"

6. "What is the problem the product is solving?"

7. "How would you describe the solution for this problem on a 5th grade level? Make it shorter."

8. Use it on your main picture and expand it on a 2nd and 3rd. You'll see how your conversion will go up immediately.

Don't forget to test it via PickFu against your current picture and your competitor prior to making any changes.

💸 Why are profits being affected so badly?

Here are my TOP - 5 tips why sellers are not profitable.

First of all, there are plenty of sellers that are making f%%% ton of money. And they are not complaining.

What do they do different from others?

• Their product in 90% is differentiated from others and solving the main problem

• Go after the ROI, not a high amount units sold

• High ticket products do not require usually high AD spend

• They use experts in their Journey that are being paid top $ and not Fiverr "experts". One $400 "fiverr" guru can waste thousands of dollars with negative ROI. Pay experts, that will save and make you a lot of money.

• COGs that makes sense. Sometimes its worth to go up a bit with a quality by $1-$2 to get a $7-$10 higher retail cost.
