Title density is one of the major indicators of your potential success when you are choosing your main keyword.

Letโ€™s say your product is a margarita tumbler that we discussed in the last issue. How would you find which keyword you should use as the primary one to sell more and be indexed on page one faster?

Here is the instruction:

  1. Analyze your competitor using Cerebro.

  2. Use the filters as shown in the screenshot below (word count 2, min 1,000 searches, you can also add max 5 title density, but I like to see my options).

  3. Look for the search terms with a decent value (min 1,000) and low title density in the results. This means you donโ€™t have a lot of competitors using it.

In this particular case, we have at least one option.

Ideally, we should have a minimum of 3-4 options, so we can have a backup plan by the time we are ready to launch.

So here is the deal. And it will hurt most of you. If you are a friend of mine, it will hurt you too.

Most of you are launching Amazon products and asking your friends and family to leave a review. Itโ€™s fucked up.

Why? Because there are simple statistics that everyone tracking, Amazon included. About 5% of buyers are willing to leave a review organically. And when on day 3 of your listing being available on the marketplace, you have a review from a person who converted into a buyer after visiting your listing for the first time without showing any real buyer behavior (jumping between listings, comparing, reading the details, etc.), it flags your listing on the backend. ๐Ÿšฉ

Your listing should convert about 4-5% without reviews if your product and listing are really awesome and great.

When your friends are purchasing with search-find-buy, your conversion is 100%.

Then, when reality hits and your conversion is low, it triggers Amazon to see a dishonest approach and what happens next? You get shadow banned in a bset cast scenario๐Ÿšซ and violated review manipulation of Amazon TOS.

So how to find out if your competitors are having this short-lived success?

Look at the screen below.

If the reviews are coming one after another, day by day, and they donโ€™t sound like real-life experiences, or sometimes they have similar names like all Russians ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ, all Hispanics ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ, or all Chinese ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ etc, it means the seller is inviting their network.

On top of that, those people will eventually be blocked from leaving reviews.

If the product is pretty bad, the sellers will avoid Vine reviews because those will always tell the truth, and then they wonโ€™t be able to sell it successfully at all.

When you find out that a seller is doing fake reviews, check their location and experience based on the amount of feedback and successful products.

If those are US-based ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ, the chance that itโ€™s a short-term solution and they just donโ€™t know what they are doing is very high.

But if those are overseas sellers, be aware of them, playing dirty games, and donโ€™t fight them unless you already have a strong position in the market. And even then, you can lose.

I recommend you include quality review analysis into your product validation process. Knowing your competitors is important.
